My father loves gardening and a little landscaping. I remember when I was a small kid, he would ask me to help him tend a small flower garden and our front lawn by pulling out the weeds. For a kid like me then, it seemed like real hard work, what with the heat and insects flying around. It was fun though as I learned not only basic gardening chores but also how to become patient and hardworking.
Now, I live in an apartment where there are no flower gardens nor lawns to tend but I do wish I could live in a place where I could once again become a kid, and where I could also teach my own kids the value of some manual work.
If I could live this dream, I would have flower gardens around the house, a huge lawn where all the family can play, weather permitting. However, this would also entail an investment of time and energy. To take care of such a garden and lawn will take much time out of my biking! My kids, small as they are could never be relied on to take care of them. TruGreen can certainly do these and more for me. I would trust them to keep my lawn greener and weed-free all year round.
