Tour of the Fireflies Marshals Training Rides

So you’ve enjoyed the Tour of the Fireflies a couple to times?
So you think the Tour of the Fireflies is a testament to Bike Power?

Did you have fun?
Enjoyed yourselves?
Felt safe riding the Tour?
Was the start of an addiction to cycling for you?

A big reason the Tour of the Fireflies has been such a big sucess this past nine years is through the sheer dedication of the volunteer marshalls?

Front Marshalls block the roads ahead for the Tour to pass.
Pacer Marshalls pace the ride so that even a 6 year old can do it.
Peripheral Marshalls makes sure everybody is safe inside the peloton and motorized vehicles are kept out
Sweeper marshalls make sure no one gets left behind.

Would you like to be part of the success of the 10th Tour of the Fireflies?

Marshall training rides start this Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Tiendesitas in Pasig.

6:30am meet-up at the parking lot in front of the delicacies village of Tiende.

Training ends around 12:00 noon.
