October 24, 2007I am not feeling well tonight. I have been coughing all afternoon as soon as I arrived at work and the rain which has been intermittently falling since Monday morning is still upon us. I think this made my condition worse. Yesterday, I actually used my motorbike to come to work, and I should say too that I didn’t come to work Monday because I hardly slept Sunday evening to Monday morning. I thought I was going down with the flu, but I had no fever then and yesterday, I actually felt better. Using the motorbike for one day allowed me to rest my body from the grueling morning pedal to the MOA last Saturday. So this afternoon I rode my newly scrubbed bike and guess what, the rain fell a few meters from home and I had to go on. I had rain gears with me but they weren’t of much help to protect me from getting totally wet.
Apparently I haven’t recovered yet from fatigue and I am feeling it’s consequences right now. My lungs are just about ready explode as I feel it irritated and I sense a knot under the ribcage. I usually experience this when I would have a sort of panic attack when I am not rested well.
If it wasn’t raining, and I used the motorbike, I would have stopped working several hours ago and went home. I checked with the clinic though and I didn’t have fever, so I stayed put, but the truth is, right now, I feel shot and if I could, I would sleep right here where I sit.
The nurse prescribed a cough medicine, which I was reluctant to take, because of my heart condition. I am not sure if it will alleviate the coughing symptoms but may worsen the heart’s irregular beating.
Right now I am drinking tea flavored with two segments of an orange, courtesy of Hannes, my German-speaking colleague here, with two sachets of artificial sweetener. I feel cold but with the tea, I am somewhat relieved of my symptoms.
I will have to decide later if I will just take the taxi to go home and leave my bike here. If I could borrow a good set of bike locks or just any decent lock and key to tie it to one of the fences here, I would leave it. Otherwise, if the taxi will load it, and if the driver is not going to charge me too much, I will do it.

Thanks for the concern. About the subscription to the feed, I think I have corrected it. Pero may problema pa rin because the feed won’t update. I tried searching for solutions and the first I came about was to update the feed address. I updated it in feedburner and it seemed that the feed was okay kaya lang nagtataka ako sa mybloglog, hindi siya nag-update and when I try to read the feed, hindi rin. So pinalitan ko yung feed address but when I tried the subscription form yun nga ang error, the one that you saw. Kaya ibinalik ko yung dati and it seemed to correct the problem, pero hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin nagupdate. Have any idea?
