JOIN the Eastwood City BIKE CLINICS by the Firefly Brigade,

Time: 9AM-12NN (registration starts at 8:30 AM)

You just learned how to bike or kept it a secret for years, you may want to bike to work, to school or go around your neighborhood, the city, the country or the world…or you like to sweat it out and exercise your way to better health…or be a competitive cyclist or the next great champion…or you may just want to enjoy the wind on your face…or even save the planet. You may like to do any and all of ‘em. Whatever you like the EC Clinic is for you and its Free!

Limited to 50 participants per session. First Come, First Served. Bring your Bicycle and Helmet (required).

Resource person/s:

Jack Yabut – President of the Firefly Brigade (2003-2007) – a volunteer organization promoting clean air and the bicycle for sustainable communities. He rediscovered cycling in the last 20 years. He has also co-managed several professional cyclists and co-organized several bicycle races since 1995.

He works full time as an artist-teacher with the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA).

Other Firefly Brigade members/trainers and volunteers will join Mr. Yabut.

  • Open to individuals who already know how to balance a bicycle. Ages 5 and UP.
  • Minors must be accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
  • Participants need to bring own Bicycle and Bicycle Safety Helmet.
  • Participants bringing their motor vehicles to transport bikes may avail of Free Parking inside Eastwood City pay parking areas. (Ticket to be validated)
  • Each topic will be conducted using a combination of short lectures, demonstrations, practical exercises and fun activities/games. Each session will include a group ride in and out of Eastwood City

 

Materials Needed: (provided by Eastwood City)

- Whiteboard and markers
- LCD Projector & Screen or large TV w/ audio/video ports
- Public address w/ microphone and music playback
- 4 long mono bloc plastic tables
- Mono bloc chairs for participants

    hello hello po… galing nman ng mga bikers society jan… for sure sasali ka jan kuya ano??? keep it up!

    i learned to ride a bike wen i was 13-14yrs old… ung kaibigan ko na lalaki ang nagturo skn…since then i loved to ride a bike.. kahit and2 na ako sa Canada… every afternoon i go for a ride d2…hihihi
