Maybe it’s just me, but I think three days of biking inactivity lowered my body resistance. I haven’t touched my bike since Friday and so yesterday, Monday, I have been down with severe cough, headaches, muscle pains, colds and for a while, low grade fever and chills. I still tried to go to work, using my motorcycle instead of the bike, but I had to go home after finishing some work I had to submit. I couldn’t work properly.

While in bed last night, I told Judy, my wife, that I think this is the first time I experienced several bodily pains all at the same time. Not even when I had my heart attack did I feel so weak and aching all over. I tried to sleep early in order to get more rest, but I woke up some time past midnight and I had difficulty going back to sleep. After some moments without feeling sleepy, I started to read a book I have been trying to finish reading for almost a month now. That helped a bit and in no time at all, I fell asleep.

This morning, I woke up feeling a little better. I even offered to bring our kid to school but Judy said she could do it. I guess having her hair done yesterday did her a lot of good and she was quite in a happy mood this morning, in spite of having me beside her, snoring and tossing and turning the whole night.

As I sit in front of the computer writing this at a quarter to seven in the morning, I’m still thinking if I will bike to work today. But I think, if I have to raise my body resistance again, I would have to bike. This is actually the first time I have posted at this time of the day and I don’t know yet if this will work out better than writing in the afternoon or early evening.

well i think it’s not a bad thing having a few body pains from time to time, obviously, your body is tuning up… its not bad actually because the body is telling you to slow down a little bit because (maybe) it can’t anymore compensate for some stress… - a nurse’s perspective hehe. Relax and take it easy bro.

exercise but not too much to the point of exertion and exhaustion. get well ok. Praying for your recovery. Godbless!
