THE DOT 24 HOURS MOUNTAIN BIKE ENDURANCE CHALLENGE

Elite and amateur mountain bike and outdoor sports athletes from across the Philippines will converge on August 11-12, 2007 to compete in the most awaited 24 hours mountain biking race in the country today: The DOT 24 HOURS MOUNTAIN BIKE ENDURANCE CHALLENGE just announced for 2007, will test the competitor’s mountain biking skills and endurance on a very challenging race course prepared by the organizers.

RACE VENUE: New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Land Reserve, Muntinlupa City

CATEGORIES:

ALL-MEN (Team category, each team shall have a maximum fo three racers, for amateur, executive and novice riders only)

MIXED CATEGORY (Team category, each team shall have a maximum of three racers with at least one member of the opposite sex, for amateur, executive and novice racers only)

SOLO (Individual category, open for amateur executive and novice racers alike)

RESTRICTION: Pro riders, national team members and former national team and tour riders who are still active in competitive cycling for the last 5 years are not allowed to join the race.

PRIZES:

ALL- MEN and MIXED CATEGORY

1st Prize: 15,000.00 + Trophy or Medals + Sponsor’s items
2nd Prize: 10,000.00 + Trophy or Medals + Sponsor’s items
3rd Prize: 5,000.00 + Trophy or Medals + Sponsor’s items

SOLO CATEGORY

1st Prize: 10,000.00 + Trophy or Medal + Sponsor’s items
2nd Prize: 6,000.00 + Trophy or Medal + Sponsor’s items
3rd Prize: 4,000.00 + Trophy or Medal + Sponsor’s items
