CYCLE: Cycle for Clean Environment

Date: April 15, 2007 (Sunday)

Starting/Ending Venue: Tiendesitas, Ortigas Avenue corner E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue (C-5), Pasig City

Pace: The pace will be a relaxed 13-15 kph. It will be controlled so that the group bikes en masse and even occasional riders, young children, and senior citizens can enjoy the ride.

Distance and duration: The 50-kilometer ride will take about 3.5 to 4 hours to complete.

Rest stops: The ride will make several short stops along the route to enable the caravan to re-group. There will be a major 20-minute stop at the halfway point.

Support and Gear (SAG) van:A SAG van will trail the peloton. Those who wish to rest, or those unable to continue biking, may ride it.

Requirements:All participants must sign the waiver and quit claim in the registration form and wear helmets during the ride. Children below 13 years of age old must be accompanied by an adult registered participant.

Awards and Prizes
Wear Nature- or Clean Air-Inspired costumes and you may win the Best Costume award. Prizes will also be given away for the Biggest Contingent, Oldest and Youngest Rider. Only registered participants are eligible to win. Those vying for the costume awards mush check in early before the ride to get a number. All participants must bring their registration forms on April 15 to claim their prizes during the short program and raffle after the ride.

Deadline of pre-registration at the above registration centers is April 8 (Sunday) 4pm
On-Site Registration
Participants unable to pre-register by April 8 may do so on April 14 (Sat) 1:00-6:00 PM and April 15 (Sun) 5:00 AM at the starting / ending venue: Tiendesitas, Ortigas Avenue corner E. Rodriguez Jr. Ave (C-5), Pasig City.
