The truth is, I started as an armchair biker. I used to read biking magazines, opting to live vicariously, what those amazing bikers did on the trail and anywhere else. Their adventures became mine through my imagination. Their bruises left lasting marks on my memory, as I winced while reading about their falls and broken bones. The higher they jumped, the more I became addicted to fantasizing how I could land that jump without hurting my butt.
In a way then, that was biking without borders, without limits. But alas, as I closed those magazines, I was also ending a dream that started me on a blazing trail towards an infinite measure of pleasures.
I plan to continue not as an armchair biker anymore. I have already started….
